About Us
A local Estate Planning Law Firm for Local Families
Beth Driver is an estate planning and estate administration attorney in Harrisonburg, Virginia that serves the Shenandoah Valley with a personalized, education‑focused approach.
Our Story
Beth Driver Law, PLC is rooted in the history of Beth’s legal career.
Beth Driver is an estate planning attorney in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She began practicing in probate, family law, and bankruptcy, gaining broad experience helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most stressful legal situations.
Over time, she found herself especially drawn to work that helps people plan ahead, bring order to uncertainty, and protect what matters most.
After stepping away to focus on her growing family, she joined a law firm focused on estate planning and became a member of the Virginia Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (VAELA). She later co-founded her own practice built around a shared belief: legal services should be approachable, understandable, and centered on real people. In 2026 she transitioned to Beth Driver Law, PLC.
Beth Driver Law, PLC is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and focuses on estate planning, probate, and estate and trust administration in Virginia.
We focus on estate planning, probate, estate and trust administration, and provide an elder law review for people who live in Virginia.
We help clients by preparing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives, and we also guide families through probate and trust administration after the death of a loved one.
What Working With Us Looks Like
At its core, Beth Driver Law, PLC is designed to serve everyday people who want straightforward guidance, transparent pricing and a supportive experience. We offer thoughtful, personalized estate planning for individuals and families who want to feel confident in their decisions without unnecessary complexity or pressure.
Our Philosophy is Education First, Pressure Never
It’s not uncommon to feel overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, or worried about making the “wrong” decision. Our role is to give you the information you need to make thoughtful choices that align with your values and goals.
We take time to explain not only what your options are, but why one approach may be more appropriate than another based on your family, assets, and stage of life. That education allows you to move forward with confidence and an understanding of the plan you are putting in place.
We want to help ensure that you are protected throughout all stages of life.
-
Planning for the future doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. We guide you through each step with clarity and care—so you can make informed decisions and walk away with a plan you truly understand.
-
Probate and administration are not a one-size-fits all process. In Virginia, the path forward depends on how assets were owned, whether a will or trust exists, and the family’s specific circumstances.
-
We offer an Estate and Asset Review meeting to discuss options for care, protecting assets, and eligibility requirements for government programs like Medicaid. We will also review any current estate planning documents and let you know if updates are needed.
Our Process
What sets us apart is not necessarily the documents we prepare, but how we guide clients through the process. Whether you want a detailed explanation of every option or simple, clear guidance on what to do next, we make sure you feel confident in your plan. Our approach is intentionally calm, supportive, and respectful of where you are in the process. Questions are always welcome, and no concern is too small.
Every client begins by meeting with Beth to talk through goals, concerns, and options. After that initial meeting, our experienced staff guides you through the remaining steps, answering questions, coordinating details and making sure nothing is overlooked. This team-based approach allows us to provide thoughtful legal advice while also offering consistent, hands-on support throughout the process.
Are we a good fit for you?
Many of our clients come to us because they want guidance—not just documents. We take time to explain options, answer questions and make sure you feel confident in the decisions you’re making.
-
Our firm is often a good fit for individuals, couples, young families, retirees, and caregivers who value clear explanations, thoughtful planning, and a supportive legal team. If you want to understand your options and feel supported throughout the process, you are likely in the right place.

We are an inclusive law firm and proudly work with LGBTQ individuals, couples, and families.
